In Gearhart, you'll always know when it's 7:00 o'clock on a Wednesday evening, that is when the siren will sound and the Fire Department is called into their weekly drills. The siren will cycle five times by the tone getting higher then lower when there is a fire. Should the siren come on and remain steady for three minutes, follow the signs and head for "HIGH GROUND" this is the signal for a "TSUNAMI".  Evacuation Maps are available at City Hall!

Volunteer Fire Fighters are urgently needed for the Fire Department, call Chief Bill Eddy to volunteer738-7838.
